What We Provide in our TimberFrame Packages
- Hearthstone TimberFrame Bents are available in many wood species. The most commonly utilized is our own Eastern White Pine. We also offer Oak, Douglas Fir, and numerous others.
- Several Finishes are available (these can be viewed on our *Truss Types and Finishes page) : Planed Smooth, Planed Smooth w/Chamfered Edges, Hand Hewn, WeatherAged™, Hand Hewn and WeatherAged™.
- Available Truss types: King Post Truss, Queen Post Truss, Hammer Beam Truss, Single or Double Bottom Chord, and custom designed Trusses based on your specific needs.
- Each timber is inspected, graded, and stamped in accordance with Timber Products Inspection, Inc. guidelines.
- End grain is sealed; frame is packed with spacers and wrapped for protection during shipment.
TimberFrame Package Includes:
- T-Frame Purlins, T-Frame Plate, T-Frame Ridge Beams, T-Frame Floor Beams, T-Frame Bay Brace, Porch Posts, with base plates and adjustable screw jacks, Porch Top-Plate Beams, Porch End Struts, Porch Angle Braces, 1" oak pegs for assembly of mortise & tenon joinery.
- SIPs WALL Panels
- 2X6 T&G Roof Decking, 2X6 T&G Floor Decking, Rigid Roof Insulation, OSB for covering roofs of heavy timber built-up roof system, gable ends and dormers, if applicable.
- 2 X 6 studs for framing gable ends, dormers, crickets, and used as insulation stops of homes with R-38 heavy timber roof systems, 1X10 WP Fascia Trim, 30# Felt.
Erection Services
Unloading of all trucks and assembly of the structural systems package on client supplied and installed foundation and sub floor. This Kentucky TimberFrame and Log service includes erection and installation of the following:
- TIMBERFRAME: Timberframe bent sections, bay plates, second floor beams, second floor headers, roof bay purlins, roof headers, roof bay ridges, bay braces, timber valleys, jack rafters, hip rafters, and oak pegs (if applicable). LVL beams, Microlam beams, joist hangers, I-joists, ¾" plywood on second floor system, and conventional roof trusses with cantilevered gable end overhangs (if applicable).
- SIPs Wall Panel Erection and installation
- DRY-IN TIMBERFRAME/FCP: plywood, felt, in truss roof; felt on panel roof; plywood, felt, insulation, and decking on built-up roof (excluding shingles on all roof systems).
- On-Site equipment and/or crane provided.
